Where is Quintay located, and how do I get there?
Quintay is a beautiful coastal village located about 120 km (75 miles) from Santiago and 45 km from Valparaíso. You don’t need to worry about the logistics—we offer convenient private transport connections to bring you directly to our center.
Do you offer accommodation at the dive center?
Yes! We provide comfortable on-site accommodation right at our center. You can wake up, enjoy the ocean breeze, and walk straight to the boats without any morning rush.
What amenities does the AustralDivers center have?
Our facility is designed for total comfort. Along with lodging, we have a private pool (perfect for training or gear testing), hot showers, gear storage, and a cozy communal area to relax, log your dives, and share stories with fellow travelers.
What is the water temperature like?
Water temperatures in central Chile range between 11°C and 14°C (52°F – 57°F). It is cold-water diving with incredible biomass. We provide high-quality, thick 7mm wetsuits and hoods (or you can bring your drysuit). All top-tier rental gear is available, so you can travel light.
I don’t speak fluent Spanish. Will I be able to dive?
Absolutely! Our dive masters and instructors are multilingual and used to hosting international travelers. Briefings, safety protocols, and guiding are all available in English to ensure you feel 100% safe and included.
Can I join your trips if I am a solo traveler?
Definitely. One of the best things about AustralDivers is our strong sense of community. Solo travelers quickly find dive buddies here. Between the shared center spaces, the pool, and the post-dive vibes, you’ll feel right at home from day one.
