Playa Blanca Expedition
Playa Blanca, in Tongoy, is an ideal seaside base for discovering the diving of north-central Chile. This expedition combines four dives, clear waters, marine life, seaside accommodation, and activities for four days of diving, nature, and good company.

Itinerary and activities
Day 1 – Arrival at Playa Blanca
Check in to our cabins at Camping Playa Blanca, followed by a welcome talk and destination briefing. We’ll wrap up the first day with a welcome appetizer and a campfire under the stars.
Day 2 – Diving and sunset
Group breakfast followed by two dives, with a snack between dives. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a local lunch, a group walk, and sunset by the sea, ending the day around the campfire.
Day 3 – Diving and activities
A second day of two dives, with a snack between dives and a local lunch. In the afternoon, there will be time for stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking, followed by a group barbecue and shared appetizers.
Day 4 – Relaxation and return
Group breakfast and a relaxed morning before checking out of the cabins and preparing for the return trip after four days of diving and seaside life in north-central Chile.
Optional – Two extra dives
If you’d like to keep exploring, you can add two extra dives on the final day for CLP $90,000. A great option to make the most of the trip before heading back.

Includes: 3 nights of accommodation, 4 dives, diving equipment, snacks between dives, daily breakfasts, lunches on Days 2 and 3, walks and sunset activities, expedition T-shirt, group barbecue, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding.
Playa Blanca, our base in Tongoy
Camping Playa Blanca will be our base throughout the expedition, with comfortable cabins, a training pool, and direct access to a privileged seaside setting.
The complex also has a restaurant, minimarket, barbecue areas, and shared spaces to relax and spend time together after each day of diving.
Unique wildlife and underwater landscapes
Playa Blanca stands out for its clear waters, rocky walls, fields of sea anemones, and colorful underwater formations rich in biodiversity.
Possible encounters include Chilean eagle rays, elephantfish, local reef fish such as rollizos, viejas and blanquillos, and diamond rays. Sea lions and marine otters may also be seen in the area, with occasional sightings of Humboldt penguins, dolphins, or whales.
