It was just perfect! We spent almost a week there and Enjoyed every day. The open water course went really well and we had the best instructor ⚡️ All the team was so nice, welcoming and funny. They did everything So we could have the best experience and it worked!
I truly recommend staying there during your trip because everything is So confortable and you have the view on the ocean🌊. The diving spots are also really fun and we even saw see wolves ⚓️

I had an incredible experience with Austral Divers Center! It was my first time diving in the Pacific Ocean. Diving in Chile is special, not just because of the amazing sea life, but also the unique “underwater jungle” scenery you don’t get anywhere else. The entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. And I have to highlight the equipment: next level. I couldn’t recommend Austral Divers Center enough. What is cold-water diving like in Chile?
Diving in Chile is different from tropical destinations. Expect cooler temperatures, incredible visibility on good days, and unique ecosystems like kelp forests. We have excellent quality wetsuits, short suits and oversuits, so that no one gets cold.
Do I need to bring my own dive gear?
You can bring your own equipment if you’d like, but it’s not required. Basic equipment is included in all packages; just let us know in advance if you need any special sizes so we can have everything ready when you arrive.
Is suitable for beginners and/or children?
Beginners can enjoy a experience adapted for comfort and safety. Each participant is paired with a dedicated guide and visits calm, shallow dive sites. A short pool session is included to practice basic skills before going into the ocean. Ocean experiences are available from age 10+, and pool-only sessions from age 8+.
How do I get to the dive center?
We offer options with and without transport. If you choose a package with transport, we’ll pick you up from Santiago or Valparaíso and handle all local logistics, so you don’t have to worry about getting around.
