Scheduled departures
Every morning we offer deep diving for experienced divers. During the day we have excursions for divers of all levels.
1. Welcome and Orientation
Participants are greeted by a certified instructor.
2. Equipment preparation and review
Each diver receives their equipment and prepares it before going into the water.
3. Immersion in the sea
Enjoy relaxed dives. You can do one or two dives.
Have you been diving for a while?
The ReActivate program for divers who have not dived for more than six months.

The 9:00 am departure is for advanced or higher divers
Open Water divers can book from 10:30 onwards, or request to participate in a morning departure via WhatsApp.

What is a Unique dive?
It’s one immersion. Perfect if you have very little time or want something more relaxed. Quick and well-organized.
What is a double dive?
Includes two dives in one day. Ideal for making the most of your trip, exploring more dive sites, and seeing more marine life. More time in the water, more experience.

Frequently Asked Questions for Licensed Divers
Find answers to the most common questions among divers who already have their diving licenses.
Can I do a “double dive” on two different days?
No, the “double dive” service must be completed on one day, no exceptions. There will be no refunds if you choose not to do your second dive.
If you want multiple dives on different days you can buy several “single dives” or choose one of our Diving Packages.
What can I do after diving?
Quintay is famous for its restaurants, but at Austral we also have terraces and a grill for our divers:
– Join the Austral Events.
– Write to us to create your own plan with friends at our facilities.
Can I choose which spot we’ll go to?
The guide will always choose the spot based on the sea conditions at the time. However, we will always take your opinion into account and try to take you to the places you want to see.
How long do their dives last?
It depends on several factors; we usually aim for a minimum of 30 minutes. But it can vary depending on the air consumption of the group members and sea conditions.
What if I haven’t dived in a while?
If it has been 6 months or more since your last dive, we recommend the ReActivate program.
Do they have accommodation?
Yes, you can stay at Hostal Austral, exclusively for divers from our center. Inquire about rates and availability via WhatsApp.
