Juan Fernández Expedition
The Juan Fernández archipelago is one of the best diving spots in Chile and the world, thanks to the collision of ocean currents (Peru and Humboldt). The waters at this location possess incredible biodiversity and pleasant temperatures.

Itinerary and Activities
Day 1 – Welcome
After a two-hour flight by small plane with Lassa airline, we’ll arrive at the archipelago where a boat will transport us directly to the lodge.
Day 2 and 3 – Diving
On the second and third days, we’ll do relaxed dives in the Cumberland Bay area. Shallow dive sites that will allow us to test equipment and see different endemic animals.
Day 4 and 5 – Adventures
During these days, we’ll go on a horseback ride across the island and explore the botanical trails of the forest reserve.
Day 6 and 7 – Diving
During these days, we’ll head to the northwest area of the island to dive at incredible sites like Bajo la Tortuga (Turtle Reef) or Cernícalo (Kestrel).
Day 8 – Return
This day we’ll wrap up activities and prepare everything for our return home.
Considerations
Refugio Náutico will be the ecolodge hosting us. It features rooms at the ocean’s edge and steps from the pier.
